- 09Straight Line Services can handle nearly any CAD file format you provide. Our tools are compatible with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, so most formats will work seamlessly. Specifically, we can work with file types such as: • .dwg • .iges / .igs • .stp / .step • .sldasm (please include all associated part files) If your file format isn’t listed, don’t worry—we support many others as well! Feel free to reach out if you have questions about compatibility or need assistance preparing your files for submission.
- 10To capture the best possible photos for your patent drawings: 1. Position at eye level: Align the camera at eye level with the object. If needed, place the object on a shelf or kneel down to avoid angled or skewed images. 2. Maintain distance: Stand back as far as practical and use your camera’s zoom to fill the screen with the object. This minimizes distortion and ensures accurate proportions. Following these steps will help us create precise and professional patent drawings from your photos.
